London's guitar and vocal talent Oscar Jerome has dropped three tracks lifted from his 2022 record The Spoon, freshly recorded at Lightship 95, London's floating recording studio located on the North side of the Thames near Blackwall. One of the tracks that Oscar re-recorded there is 'Channel Your Anger (Lightship 95 Sessions)'. Opening the song is a tight beat with a reverb-drenched snare, followed by Oscar Jerome singing a thickly harmonised line that's just as rhythmic as the drums. Bongos and wandering flute break up the track, whilst Oscar's guitar chords move through a catchy riff. It differs to the original version on The Spoon because it's refreshingly raw and less tidily produced. We're fans! Check it out here. -Ellie Rose-Davies
